Happy October, Cool Coyotes!

If you haven't heard the exciting news, we not only reached our fundraising goal during the Step It Up! fundraiser, we exceeded it! Thank you to everyone who donated and supported our school. As a reward for their hard work, our students will enjoy a Day of Awesomeness on October 16. We are looking for volunteers to help supervise this event, so please keep an eye out for a sign-up opportunity coming soon.

Family Movie Night was also a huge success! A big thank you to all of our volunteers and to everyone who contributed raffle donations. Your support helped make the evening a memorable one for our TRE families.

As busy as September was, October promises to be even busier! Take a look at our October calendar below and join us for all the fun and exciting events ahead.

RESTAURANT FUNDRAISER

Next Tuesday, join us for our October Restaurant Fundraiser at Panda Express and Yogurtland. Be sure to mention "TRE PTA" at checkout so a portion of your purchase is donated back to our school. If ordering online, don't forget to enter the fundraiser code below at checkout to ensure TRE receives credit for your order.

INTERNATIONAL WALK TO SCHOOL DAY

The following day is International Walk to School Day. At 7:55am, we will take a group photo at the picnic pavilion at Tustin Sports Park near the basketball courts (map below). Just a couple of tips/reminders:

• If you are still driving to school, LEAVE A LITTLE EARLIER THAN USUAL! There will be more families walking to school, which means busier intersections. If you are running late, please use the designated drop-off areas.
• If you are walking to school, PLEASE BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS! Also take this opportunity to teach your children about traffic safety and the importance of listening to our crossing guards.
• Say a huge thank you to our crossing guards who keep our kids safe EVERY SINGLE DAY!

TRUNK-OR-TREAT

One of our biggest events of the year is coming up in just 3 short weeks! You may have noticed some "Candy Monsters" lurking around our front office and Kindergarten gates, and they are HUNGRY for candy! If you'd like to donate candy or treats for the event, please "feed" the monsters!
